Dmitry Zelenin

Dmitry Vladimirovich Zelenin - Russian politician, economist and businessman, and the governor of the Tver region starting from December 2003 to June 2011.

In 1986-1988 he worked at the Research Institute of Automated Systems (RIAS), in the department of microelectronic systems, where he published 29 scientific works.

In 1989 he participated in the creation of cooperatives "Microcard" and "Girvas", and later, the company "Microdin", specialized in supplying software and computer technology. Since 1990 he has served as member of the Board of Directors of JSC "Microdin".

From 1990 to 1993 - Deputy Head of the Commercial Bank of interbranch "Resource Bank". From 1993 to 1995 - Deputy Chairman of the Russian Joint Stock Commercial Bank "RATO Bank".

In 1994 - a member of the Board of Directors "ZIL" and "Perm Motors". From March to December 1995 - Chairman and CEO of IBC "Resource Bank". From January to September 1996 - General Director of OJSC "Interros".

From 1996 to 2000 - Deputy General Director of RAO "Norilsk Nickel". From 2001 to 2002 - Deputy General Director, Senior Vice President, Member of the Management Board and the Board of Directors of MMC "Norilsk Nickel", a member of the Management Board of RAO "Norilsk Nickel".

In December 1999, he founded and headed the public organization "Association of Managers". He is currently the president of the organization.

Member of the General Council of "United Russia" (2007).

Since September 2008 the Head of the Department of Public Administration of the Russian State University for the Humanities.
