Exhibition

The World League "Mind Free of Drugs" presents an international exhibition-report “Maya Planet: World Against Drugs."

The main goal of the exhibition is the prevention of drug abuse amongst young people and the achievement of the mission of the World League – to form immunity against drugs in society as part of their 50-year vision.

The World League "Mind Free of Drugs" began to gather the material for this exhibit on 3 November 2010. This is the day when the Transnational internet contest MayaPlanet, devoted to the problems of drug addiction, started. Currently this competition has collected more than 2,100 unique works from 150 countries in four categories: drawing, photography, video and confessional stories. The best 60 works from Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America were presented at the exhibition.

I stage

The event will be held in Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek and Osh) in the first quarter of 2013 at leading universities and secondary educational institutions.
The decision to present the exhibition in Kyrgyzstan was been made by the organizers due to the fact that the country is located in the heart of Central Asia, at the intersection of the ancient trade routes between Europe and Asia, which forms the point commercial exchange for drug trafficking of the "Golden Crescent" states - Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran.

II stage

The exhibition “Maya Planet: World Against Drug Addiction" will move to other countries of the region - Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, before continuing to major cities in Europe, Middle East, Australia, the US, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. The organizers plan to reach more than 40 countries.
