Creative competition "Tashtar-Ata" as a place for the third millennium

الأموال التي تم جمعها: $0

الهدف: $0

The name of the Sacred Mountain Tashtar-Ata first appeared in the early 2000s. An international march-parade under the motto “Say no to hard drugs!” started from here. Here, at the foothills of the mountains, a huge pile of stones had risen. Pilgrims from all over the world throw off shoulders their own stones of burden asking Almighty for blessing.            365 steps lead pilgrims to the top of the Salvation Mountain. Chapels, Muslim and Jewish prayer rooms, Christian and Buddhist stupas have been erected at the very top of Tashtar-Ata.

Tashtar-Ata unites key world religions, gathers around itself thousands of people with their destinies and prayers, accepts wanderers encouraging their spirit.  Each visitor, leaves a small part of his soul here.

In 2006, the World League “Mind Free of Drugs” has initiated a contest for the best photograph, video and painting of the Sacred Mountain.

Ten prizes were awarded in the competition.

The author of the most interesting and successful work (photo, drawing), who could express the sacred spirit of the place the best possible way, received a sum of $ 1000, a free ticket for Mindcrafting Program and a book “Fatal Red Poppies” written signed by prof. Nazaraliev.

The authors of the four best works travelled to the yurt town of Ak-Tengir on the southern coast of Issyk-Kul to undergo body and spirit Mindcrafting program.

Five more participants received the book Fatal Red Poppies.

Everyone who wanted to participate in the contest could upload their work or a series of pictures from the Tashtar-Ata Mountain on their Facebook page and share the link to their photos.

The results of the competition were announced on May 1, 2014.
