Born on 19 February 1979 in Daugavpils, Latvia.
After graduating the 9 grade, he came to Moscow to conquer the Russian capital. He released the clip Opera № 2, worked on TV6, met with Sergey Pudovkin in Odessa, who later became his producer. Vitas' solo music career began in December 2000.
At the moment, Vitas made several solo recitals and toured dozens of countries of the world. A singer also starred in the movie "Mulan" (made in PRC). In China, Vitas is the most popular Russian singer.
In 2011, "Quad-Disc" released fourteenth studio album of Vitas called "Mother and Son". The album consists of twelve songs.
